What is contagious and good for your health? Kindness!

Positive emotions from either being kind to someone or witnessing an act of kindness are proven to reduce stress and boost the immune system.

Kindness stimulates the production of serotonin, the feel-good chemical, which helps heal our wounds, calm our senses, and make us happy.

That’s a win-win in our book!

Just one good deed can create a domino effect and enhance the day of dozens of people! Here are a few tips that may spark an idea in you:

• Write someone you care about a list of things you love about them.
• Run an errand for a busy friend or family member.
• The simple act of offering a friendly smile, or opening a door for a stranger can make their day.
